Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cuajado Specialty Goods website, the Turophile Club membership, and any order you place with us (together, the "Service"), operated by Cuajado LLC ("Cuajado," "we," "us"). By creating an account, placing an order, or subscribing to a membership, you agree to these Terms.
Pickup-only fulfillment
We don't ship. Every order — In Stock purchases, Antico pre-orders, and Turophile Club boxes — is cut to order and held for pickup at our monthly farmers market pop-up. See the event calendar for the current pickup date and location. An order not picked up within a reasonable window after the event may be forfeited without refund, since it's perishable and can't be re-sold or held indefinitely.
Turophile Club membership
Curado and Antico are recurring monthly subscriptions billed automatically through Stripe on the date you join, each month, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for; we don't prorate or refund the current period. Antico's pre-order access requires an active Antico membership at the time of fulfillment.
Pre-orders
Requesting an Antico pre-order saves a payment method on file but does not charge you. We charge that payment method only when the order is actually fulfilled, at the price in effect at fulfillment time (which may differ from the price shown when you requested it). If the charge is declined, your order is held until you update your payment method.
In Stock orders
In Stock orders are charged in full at checkout. Payment reserves your items against our live inventory for a limited window; if checkout isn't completed in time, the reservation releases and the items become available to other customers again.
Pricing
Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. Member pricing and posted sale prices don't stack — you always get whichever discount is better for you. We reserve the right to correct a listing error (a mispriced or mis-described item) before an order is fulfilled.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
Refunds and quality issues
See our Refund Policy for how we handle spoilage, damage, and cancellations.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuajado isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or the products you buy from us. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Puerto Rico or U.S. law, including for food safety.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll post the new version here with an updated date; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
